The Job
We are looking for a Web Designer that has a minimum 2 years of experience designing for the web. 1point21 designs beautiful and modern websites for businesses, so our ideal candidate has experience designing modern, cutting edge websites and designs with user experience and user interface (UX/UI) top of mind.
We are looking for someone who can impress us with their portfolio. While years of experience is important, we are more interested in designers who can create beautiful designs while always considering and prioritizing the user experience in their work. If you believe you can wow us with your portfolio, we’d love to hear from you!
Bonus points if you have experience with mobile app & software designs, as we also do software development work.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
- Working with project managers to help brief and advise clients regarding design style, format, production timeline
- Develop strong concepts and layouts with website, print and logo design
- Work with senior web designers
- Work with project managers/art directors for final layouts
Qualifications
- Portfolio demonstrating strong digital (UI/UX) designs
- Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
- Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
- Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, XD etc.)
- Highly proficient in all design aspects
- Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
- 1+ years graphic designing experience in an agency setting (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field (preferred)
Compensation:
- 50k-75k
